He is an MSBA Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist, an advanced specialty designation awarded by the Civil Trial Certification Board of the Minnesota State Bar Association; a Certified Civil Trial Advocate, demonstrating an enhanced level of skill and expertise in trial advocacy as determined by the National Board of Trial Advocacy; and a No-Fault Arbitrator certified by the American Arbitration Association.
Mr. Colosimo is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by Minnesota Lawyer as a “Super Lawyer” — a designation reserved for just 5% of lawyers in the state — in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury and employment litigation, and public school law. Mr. Colosimo began his career as a high school teacher and coach prior to going on to law school, and currently represents over 13 public school districts across Northern Minnesota.
